Lidl £2 beauty box, 5K run event, free Joe & The Juice, £3 candle kit, Play-Doh set, £1 meals

Hey there! We’ve been celebrating this week as we hit 100K followers on Instagram! 🥳

It’s actually 5 years next week that I started Chloe’s Deal Club and it was just a hobby at the time.

Before this, I was a serial side hustler and would lose interest in all of them after a few weeks.

But there was something different about this one. 💭

And I think it’s because I started Chloe’s Deal Club just to help others, and not to make it a business. I even worked for free for the first 18 months before I made a single penny and started thinking about how I could make this my job.

So to now be here, doing this full time with a community of 100K on Instagram and over 150K across all platforms blows my mind! 😍

Thank you for joining me on this journey. You really are the best, most supportive and wonderful community of deal-lovers and I’m so glad we can save money together.

Get a £2 beauty box from Lidl

🌸 £2 Lidl Beauty Box

Lidl is launching a £2 beauty box!

It’s dropping at 10am on Thursday 9th May on their new beauty box website (link below) and all proceeds are going to the NSPCC. There will probably be a postage fee too, but it’s not known what it will be yet.

The box features 20 full-size products worth over £70, including:

  • Fragrances for him and her

  • Face creams and masks

  • Shampoo and conditioner

  • Body lotion and hand lotion

  • Candle and reed diffuser

  • And more!

This first box is a trial basis but hopefully we’ll see more in the future. I think it’s a brilliant box as every product is actually useable and they’re all cruelty free.

Lidl hasn’t said how many boxes will be available, but I’m expecting it to sell out very quickly. So here’s the link you need for Thursday below - have it open and ready at least a few minutes before 10am.

Take part in a 5K and get a goodie bag

🏃🏼‍♀️ 5K Run With Decathlon

Decathlon and ParkPlay are hosting 5k runs across the UK between May and November. There’s two ticket options:

£5 Ticket Package

This includes breathable Kiprun t-shirt, nutrition essentials, finisher medal and £5 voucher to spend in Decathlon after your run.

£10 Ticket Package

This includes all of the above, plus a £5 donation to ParkPlay which is a charity that organises free two-hour weekly play sessions for children at parks in England.

I’ve booked the Glasgow Braehead run, so hopefully see you there!

PS. If you want to start practicing your 5K, I highly recommend going to parkrun on Saturday mornings. It’s a free community event where you can walk or run. I started going again in January after years off and love it - it puts you in such a good mood for the rest of the day! Just make sure you register for your barcode in advance to get your time at the end.

💭 Guess the Riddle

What’s the difference between an alligator and a crocodile?

The answer is at the end of this email. I gotta say, this is the best one yet. 🤣

LEGO’s make and take event

👽 Free LEGO UFO

LEGO has a free ‘make and take’ event in UK and Ireland stores where you’ll build a LEGO UFO. They’re available on a first come, first serve basis on these dates:

Get a free sandwich from Joe & The Juice

🥪 Joe & The Juice Freebie

If you’ve already got the Joe & The Juice app, you can get a free breakfast sandwich.

Just login to your existing account on the app and the voucher should appear to add to your wallet. You’ll then have until the 10th May to use your voucher.

Note: This is not available for new accounts, however I’ve noticed Joe & The Juice have done a few freebies like this over the last few months so it’s worth downloading the app and seeing if you can get future ones.

Get this Play-Doh set for £10.50

🌈  £10.50 Play-Doh Set

A few weeks ago, we featured this Play-Doh deal and woweee it was popular! I’ve spotted it on offer again, it’s a few pounds more than before but it’s still fantastic value for what’s included.

You can get it for only £10.50 and it includes 12 tubs of Play-Doh and lots of kitchen utensils. It’s one of those deals which would be great for putting away for a gift later in the year.

⚡️ Iceland £1 Meals

Iceland has a range of £1 Value Meals with family favourites such as pastas, curries, pies etc.

These could be helpful options if your shopping budget is tight or to keep in the freezer as a convenient meal if the takeaway craving kicks in. Iceland often has coupons too, so it’s worth joining their mailing list to keep up to date.

Get a triple deal stack on this neck fan

☀️ Neck Fan for £7.68

My mum took a neck fan on holiday and it was a great way to keep cool.

There’s lots to choose from online, but this one is rated 4.3 out of 5 stars from over 4,000 reviews and it’s available in lots of colours.

It’s already reduced to £10.98 but there’s a deal stack to make it only £7.68:

  1. Tick the ‘apply 10% voucher’ box.

  2. Click ‘Redeem’ next to the ‘Save 20%’ green box, or copy the code it gives you.

  3. Both of these offers will then add on at the final order checkout page before you pay, making it only £7.68. Bargain!

Get a candle making kit for only £3

🔥 £3 Candle Making Kit

These candle making kits are reduced from £14 to only £3. There’s two scents to choose from: Bergamot or Mint.

I shared these on Instagram last week and everyone went crazy for them, so stock is pretty limited now. But it’s worth using their store checker feature to see if your local store has the kit in either scent then you can click and collect for free.
