Hey there! I’d usually write a more interesting intro, but I’m running late as always…

I’m going to the cinema and Nando’s with my friend Lauren (@laurenscravings) tonight - you should definitely follow her on Instagram for recipe ideas!

She has two free cinema tickets which we’re going to use, and I have a £10 Nando’s voucher from the Biscuit app (an app that rewards you with gift vouchers just for walking your own dog, so thanks Poppy!).

🍿 £4 Cinema Tickets

Saturday 31st August is National Cinema Day, which means we can bag cinema tickets from only £4 per person. Woohoo!

There’s over 600 cinemas across the UK taking part, including big chains and some independents too. If you buy your tickets online, you’ll pay a booking fee up to £1 (varies per cinema) or you can get your tickets in the cinema to avoid a booking fee.

The easiest way to find tickets, is to click the ‘Get £4 cinema tickets’ button below and enter your town or postcode to see which cinemas are taking part near you then book a movie for Saturday 31st August.

✈️ Prague Holiday For Under £100

Ahhh, I spotted a deal for going to Prague in January on Holiday Pirates which was £72pp… then just before I’m about to send this newsletter and I’m doing my final checks, the flights have changed and jumped up to £120pp!

But this might have actually worked in our favour, so all is not lost…

Because I’ve been looking at finding the same deal by booking flights and hotel separately for January and we can. But for just a little more you could go in December and visit the Christmas markets, which I think it better than January.

So let’s look at this deal for December…

• ✈️ Luton to Prague = £53pp return with WizzAir

• 🏡 Three Crowns Hotel Prague = £89 per room on Bookingcom app

• 💰 Total = £97.50

• 🥐 Optional: add breakfast for £11pp

HOTELS: As you’ll be booking separately, you have more choice of hotels so you could up your budget for a more modern hotel or one closer to the centre. If so, you might want to hold off booking a hotel as I have a GREAT discount code coming soon for one of my favourite sites to get luxury hotels for less.

FLIGHTS: The flights are from Luton, so fellow Scots and northerners, I’m sorrryyyyy this particular deal isn’t for us BUT use it as a price benchmark to look for deals from your nearest airport. Here’s some of the ‘cheapest’ flight dates for December for a short break:

• Glasgow: £98 for 8th-10th December with easyJet (during the week is cheaper, but flight times are not as good)

• Edinburgh: £99 for 11th-14th December with Ryanair (3 nights)

• Manchester: £78 for 10th-12th December with easyJet
