Get £20 for The Ivy, £10 off IKEA, £5 cashback bonus and my top 3 travel hacks
Hey there! I’m just back from a few days in Rome which were the first flights I booked from the easyJet travel advent calendar I bought last year.
It was a brilliant trip and on my Instagram, TikTok and YouTube I’ve shared 3 videos so far on how I managed to fit 5 days of clothes in a backpack, how I saved £870 on the hotel and how much I spent in a day. We’ve got more to come too!
Let’s get stuck into this week’s deals and make sure you read to the end of this email for your chance to win £10.
🤩 Get £20 Free Credit for The Ivy
The Ivy has a rewards program and for a limited time only, you can earn a total of £20 for free to put towards your food or drink bill. It works two ways - you get £10 credit when you enter a referral code when signing up, and you get another £10 credit when you refer a friend.
Step 1: Download The Ivy app and create a new account. On the sign up page, enter a referral code in the ‘Promo Code’ section. After a few minutes, your £10 credit will appear in your The Ivy app.
To get a referral code, ask your friends or family if they have the app to get their code (each code can only be used once) or reply to this email asking for one as I’ve collected a few codes from my Instagram followers to share.
Step 2: Go to the ‘Rewards’ section of your app and click ‘Refer a friend’ and share your own code with a friend or family member. They just need to follow step 1 above, entering your code, and you’ll both get £10 credit.
Your free credit will be valid for 3 months.

What is the hardest key to turn?
The answer is at the end of this email.
✈️ My Travel Packing Hacks
You loved my packing for Rome video so much that it’s reached 100K views across my platforms already. So here’s my top travel packing hacks and how to save money on them:
Backpack: This is an ‘under the seat’ bag which saves you paying for a cabin bag - I had to put mine in the bag sizer at the gate and considering I’d stuffed it with 5 days of clothes, it still fit! It has lots of compartments and the main section zips open fully, making it easier to pack and find things.
How to Save Money: Tick the ‘Apply £5 voucher’ box to get £5 off.
Packing Cubes: I swear by packing cubes. I feel I have so much more space in my bags when I use them. The cubes I have are £7.99 but I’ve included a section of packing cubes below with good reviews and prices.
How to Save Money: Buy a gift card on JamDoughnut to get 1.75% cashback.
Hanging Wardrobe: The is the BEST travel-related purchase I’ve ever made and if you don’t like unpacking, this is for you. It’s basically a packing cube, but once you get to your hotel you just unzip it and hang it up in the wardrobe, and that’s you unpacked! I also take this when I have a suitcase or trolley cabin bag.
🥪 Subway Rewards are Changing
Subway has just announced that their rewards program is changing from 15th May. I’ll keep you updated on the changes closer to the time.
But you need to use your current Subway rewards points by 14th May or they’ll expire - set a reminder so you don’t lose them!
✨ £10 off £100 at IKEA & Free Events
Between 28th and 4th April IKEA Family Members can get £10 off when they spend £100 in store. It’s free to become an IKEA Family Member (it’s their loyalty program) so it’s worth signing up.
Over the Easter holidays, IKEA is running free events for both children and adults. The events do fill up quickly, but there might be some availability in your local store which you can check below - just select your closest store from the list.
🐣 Free Crumpets at Morrisons
In Morrisons cafes, you can ‘Ask for Ellen’ to get two free Warburton’s toasted crumpets with butter and jam until 14th April.
Whilst anyone could technically use this offer, it’s aimed at those who need a little extra help over the Easter holidays so please be mindful.
📱 App of the Week: JamDoughnut
JamDoughnut is an app where you can buy gift cards for to receive instant cashback. I often use the app to buy a gift card and pay for my shopping, instead of paying with my bank card.
They've just announced they’ve increased their welcome bonus to £5 (previously £2) until 11.59pm on 1st April.
There’s hundreds of retailers on JamDoughnut, such as Amazon, Sainsbury’s, Caffè Nero, John Lewis, ASDA and more.
To get your £5 welcome bonus, just click the button below (and enter code RADC if prompted) and purchase a £10 gift card. You’ll also get your cashback on top of your £5 bonus!
🧠 Question: How delayed was my flight? (WIN £10!)
99% of my flights for the last 15 years have been delayed. It’s just funny at this point so it doesn’t even annoy me anymore haha.
So guess how delayed my last flight was and I’ll randomly select someone who guesses correctly to win £10 voucher of their choice.
