Hey there! Would you buy a subscription that gave you ‘unlimited’ flights for a year? It’s something that a lot of us are gunna be considering after reading this newsletter!

A lot of things sounds too good to be true, so whilst this deal is true and good, there’s quite a few catches with the main one being that your flights have to be booked super last minute.

I know some people will find that super exciting and spontaneous and others will find it stressful - I can’t decide which side I’m on for this haha!

Anyway, let’s chat about all of this below, then you can let me know if it’s the deal for you.

🏝️ ‘Unlimited’ Flights for £430ish

Ohhh, I’m SO tempted by this!

WizzAir has just released their ‘All You Can Fly’ subscription which is €499pp (£430ish) per year until 15th August 2024, then the price increases to €599pp (£515ish).

The subscription gives you ‘unlimited’ flights on all international routes within the WizzAir network. Then when you book your eligible flights you just need to pay the flat fee of €9.99 (£8.60ish) per flight segment you book.

So, based on my understanding (not 100% confirmed!), you could potentially book these WizzAir flights with this deal:

Glasgow to Budapest = €9.99 flat fee each way
Budapest to Dubai = €9.99 flat fee each way
Dubai to Maldives = €9.99 flat fee each way

But what’s the catch?
These are some of the main points below, but do read the T&Cs yourself as I’ve not covered everything.

Booking: You can only book your flights up to 3 days (72 hours) before you fly. Which means you need to be super flexible for this deal to be worthwhile for you and comfortable with a bit of uncertainty!

Because WizzAir likely sell these subscriptions to fill up last minute empty seats, the flight you want may not have eligible seats. And because you can only book up to 3 days in advance, for longer trips you won’t actually know when you can get a return until up to 3 days before.

Baggage and seats: Baggage and seat reservations are extra costs. Only 1 personal item is included - max size 40×30×20cm.

Number of flights: You can book up to 3 flight segments per day. I actually think this is generous. Just make sure you allow enough time between each flight segment to allow for delays so your flights don’t overlap.

Reviews: WizzAir has pretty mixed reviews. I’ve never flown with them before so have no opinion, but given 90% of my flights are delayed or cancelled anyway my head is thinking ‘well, how bad can they be?!’. Have you had a good or bad experience with them? Let me know please!

📚 Blue Light Card for Teachers

Teachers can now get a Blue Light Card to access exclusive discounts from a wide range of brand.

It’s £4.99 which will give you access to two years of discounts at thousands of brands. It’s said the card can save you up to £800 per year!

It’s been super popular since it was announced this month with huge queues to get on the website to join. There’s now a waiting list so you can add your name to the waiting list below.

🍕 Co-op £5 Meal Deal

The Co-op has this brilliant in-store meal deal, where you can get all of the below for only £5 if you’re a Co-op Member or £6 if you’re not a member:

• Two pizzas

• Ben & Jerry’s tub (worth £5.50!)

• £4.99 Amazon gift card (upload your receipt on Co-op’s website or app within 7 days and your Amazon gift card code will be emailed to you)

You can actually claim this deal multiple times until 27th August, so if you’re not a member yet it’s worth paying £1 to join so you can make the most of your savings.

A few of my IG followers said they joined the Co-op Membership yesterday and had a £1 coupon in the app which they could stack with this deal, which balanced out their membership fee. So check your offers tab if you do join.
